We strive to foster a healthy and fit community where all feel valued and are inspired to achieve their personal goals through education and support from the staff.  Our priority is to provide quality coaching to all of our members so that they have the tools to FULFILL THEIR POTENTIAL!

 

As owners we have found consistency in our fitness journey through engaging with others to make exercise “fun”.  This is why we were inspired to help our clients find the same passion of living a healthy lifestyle that we have.  

Being a member of Chaka CrossFit means being part of something bigger than yourself.  Individually our goals may be different, but together we support each other to achieve them.

John has been coaching and teaching since he was in college.  From youth swimming to elementary health and phys. ed. to working with children with neurological disabilities, he has experience coaching a wide range of athletes of all ability levels.  John has been coaching CrossFit since 2014 and is focused on helping people achieve their goals and lead happier, healthier lives.

Deanne’s expertise goes beyond coaching fitness classes, she is also a certified Eat to Perform coach.  She strives to help our clients conquer success in all aspects of life, not just lifting a barbell.

Founder of "The Empowerment Project", bringing Fellowship, Faith and Fitness together. A Penn State graduate where he majored in Kinesiology. Former athlete and coach for PSU's CrossFit Club in State College.

SHARON MOLESKI

Prior to becoming a CF L1 trainer, Sharon spent her time coaching Junior Varsity and Varsity girls softball at a local high school.  Sharon earner her CF L1 and began coaching in 2016. Sharon programs and leads the Chaka Pump Class on Thursday nights.

AMANDA LONG

Amanda has been CrossFitting since 2013. After a year of competing in CrossFit, Power Lifting and Olympic Lifting she found that her true passion was in helping others excel in the sport and decided to become a coach. Amanda currently programs and coaches the Sunday Boot Camp Class.

CHAKA

Hebrew name meaning "Life"; In the urban dictionary For Chaka its a Mexican guy, who believes/or is a bad ass dude.  For us, we use the play on the Land of the Lost character as you can see from our Team Chaka picture above.  All of this comes together in a description of things that are really great, just like Crossfit!
